Millennium Child Support Group (MCSG) is pleased to announce job opportunities for qualified individuals to support Action for Women’s Health Project in the Upper West Region of Ghana. MCSG aims to improve women's health outcomes through accessible, community-based healthcare services. The organization is working to improve women’s mental and physical health, especially those women and girls who have been historically marginalized, underfunded, or overlooked

Available Positions:

1. Medical Doctor

Location: Health Camp Sites / Clinics
Contract Type: Part-time / Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical supervision and clinical services during health outreach and screening programs
  • Support diagnostic and treatment activities in mobile and static clinics
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality service delivery
  • Ensure proper medical documentation and referrals as needed

Qualifications:

  • MBChB or MD, registered with the Medical and Dental Council
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience with focus on women’s health
  • Strong diagnostic and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering community-based care

 

2. Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Location: Mobile Clinic / District Health Centers
Contract Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized maternal care and oversee emergency obstetric services
  • Conduct reproductive health consultations and procedures
  • Train and mentor nurses and midwives on obstetric care
  • Ensure adherence to reproductive health protocols and standards

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified OB/GYN
  • 5+ years experience in maternal and reproductive health

3. Midwife

5. Community Health Nurse

9. Psychologist

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall implementation of the School Feeding Program
  • Coordinate with schools, community stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes to MCSG and ECOWAS Commission
  • Manage field staff and ensure compliance with the program’s objectives

Qualifications:
