1. Food Supply Agencies
Purpose
: The program requires the provision of foodstuffs necessary to prepare nutritious meals for schoolchildren across participating schools in the region.
Required Items: This may include the supply of staple foods such as rice, beans, maize, vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, and other essential ingredients.
Supplier Expectations: Interested food supply agencies must demonstrate their ability to consistently deliver high-quality food products in accordance with food safety standards and in the required quantities. Suppliers should also have the logistical capacity to deliver to rural areas within the Upper West Region on a regular basis.
2. Laptop Supply Companies
Purpose
: To enhance the operational efficiency of the program, Millennium Child Support Group seeks to procure laptops for staff and volunteers working on the School Feeding Program.
Required Specifications: Suppliers are expected to provide durable, high-performance laptops that meet the technological needs of the program, including data collection, reporting, and communication.

3. Suppliers of Kitchenware and Cooking Utensils

Millennium Child Support Group (MCSG), in collaboration with its development partners, invites qualified borehole drilling companies to participate in the 2024 tender process. This initiative seeks to provide safe and clean water access to underprivileged communities in the Upper West Region of Ghana, enhancing water security for schools, communities, and health facilities.
The tender aims to select contractors to drill, construct, and maintain boreholes in rural areas, ensuring sustainable water solutions for local populations. This project is supported by ECOWAS and Spanish Cooperation as part of broader efforts to improve the livelihood of vulnerable populations.
Scope of Work:
Borehole Drilling and Construction:
Drilling and construction of boreholes for schools, health centers, and community water points.
Implementation of borehole casing and lining, ensuring durability and protection of water sources.
Installation of hand pumps or mechanized systems, depending on the site’s needs and hydrogeological conditions.
Conducting hydrogeological surveys to ensure proper site selection.
Carrying out water quality testing to ensure the borehole provides safe drinking water.
Borehole Maintenance and Rehabilitation:
Routine maintenance services to ensure boreholes remain operational and provide continuous water supply.
Rehabilitation of existing non-functional boreholes, ensuring the restoration of water access in communities.
Community Engagement and Training:
Training of local community members and committees on borehole maintenance and operation.
Raising awareness about water conservation and hygiene practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
Registered and licensed borehole drilling companies with at least 5 years of experience in drilling and water infrastructure projects.
Proven track record of completing similar projects, particularly in rural and underdeveloped regions.
Availability of qualified personnel (engineers, drill operators, hydrogeologists) and drilling equipment.
Must have reliable access to drilling machinery, water testing kits, and necessary construction tools.

Millennium Child Support Group (MCSG), in collaboration with ECOWAS, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers for the supply and delivery of refrigerators to support its ongoing School Feeding Program in the Upper West Region of Ghana. This program is funded by ECOWAS under its Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF), with the aim of enhancing food storage capacity for nutritious meals provided to underprivileged children.
1. Scope of Work
The procurement involves the supply, delivery, and installation of energy-efficient refrigerators to various school locations within the Upper West Region. The refrigerators will be used to store perishable food items critical to the School Feeding Program.
2. Product Specifications
Type
: Double-door refrigerators
Capacity: Minimum 300 liters
Energy Efficiency: Energy Star-rated or equivalent
Refrigerant: Environmentally friendly, CFC-free

4. Delivery Locations

5. Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must be legally registered companies with experience in supplying similar equipment.
Bidders must demonstrate the capacity to supply the required quantity within the specified timeframe.
Previous experience with procurement projects funded by international bodies (such as ECOWAS) will be considered an advantage.
Bidders should provide at least three references from past clients for similar contracts.
